CANDISS DELCASTILLO, IACP CDT, OWNER:
I was inspired initially by Cesar Millan and the work he does when I observed that my philosophies were closely parallel with his in regards to dog training and behavioral rehabilitation. What I was gleaning from his materials and programs profusely affected my personal life in a positive way. I also noticed that there is a parallel between dog training and child training. The techniques may vary, but the philosophy is the same. This was another perk for me, since I am very
zealous about seeing parents successfully raise their children into respectful adults - an art that is seriously waning these days. Inevitably when my clients grasp and adhere to the concepts I use in my sessions with them for their dogs, they
find themselves more confident in their parenting skills as well. I have seen it make for a more stable family situation all the way around.
Walks & Wags originally started out as a Dog Walking service, but almost immediately a domino effect took it to Pet Sitting, and then Behavioral Help for Dogs 1 on 1 Sessions, as well as 4 hr Seminars. The 'Behavioral HELP for Dogs' sessions are in, some cases, my clients last resort before having to put their dog down or relinquish it to a Shelter. When I saw the need to help people with their new puppies avert problematic behaviors from starting, I designed the Start 'Em
Out Right~Puppies! Sessions and Seminars. In order to assist people in finding the right dog for them, the Matchmakers Service was born. Later a need for a Horse Care Service arose, so I accomodated that as well. (You can find the descriptions of these services on the Services & Rates page).
A very special experience for me as a Certified Dog Trainer, has been our production of 7 Cable Television Programs called "Walks & Wags Presents - Behavioral HELP for Dogs" viewed on Comcast Ch 18 in Prescott, WI and Hastings, MN. I
had access to the equipment and editing studio through the Cable Commission in Prescott, so I took the opportunity to write, direct and host these shows in order to share the information that I have with the public. This enabled me to reach an even larger audience than I do in our Seminars and 1 on 1 sessions.
MICHELLE DELCASTILLO, ASSISTANT:
I am Candiss’ daughter and have been her Assistant since the very begining of Walks & Wags Pet Service. Administratively, I screen the calls before they are then passed on to her, and do whatever is needed in the office. My role is gently woven into all of our services. I handle the dogs as needed during Sessions as well as on and off screen for the Cable TV Shows we produced. Since I was the main camera operator and chief editor, we were able to produce the
shows without outside help. (We did appreciate our station managers, however, who came to our aid from time to time!) I am skilled and comfortable with horses and I am the main horse handler for our Horse Care service. Cats take a particular shining to me as well.

1. A Certified Dog Trainer through the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals).
2. An Associate Member in good standing of the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals).
3. Writes, directs, and hosts "Walks & Wags Presents...Behavioral HELP for Dogs" aired on Cable Comcast 18 in Prescott, WI and Hastings, MN.
4. Certified in Pet First Aid (dogs & cats).
5. Candiss has met (but not worked with) Cesar Millan on two occasions, one attending a conference in which he was
the key note speaker.
6. Aside from all of the various aspects of her training, Candiss attended That's My Dog! Acadamy in which Linn Boyke, one of Cesar Millan's 3 personal apprentices, was a primary instructor throughout the weekend. The work
she does is not based solely on this training experience, but greatly enhanced by it.

Walks & Wags Pet Service:
1. Registered with both the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
2. Insured and Bonded with Maurer Foster Inc. Bond & Insurance, Lansing, MI.
3. From 2007 - 2011 WWPS ran D'Animal House when the owners would leave for extended periods of time. D'animal
House is the intermediary handler of pets (mostly dogs and cats) that come through on Delta Airlines who need day
and/or overnight kenneling before being brought back to their connecting flight.
4. Walks & Wags has produced 7 cable television shows called "Behavioral HELP for Dogs" featuring all of the various aspects of our dog behavioral techniques.
